Koichi Sakata (坂田 晃一)

Koichi Sakata received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in physics, electrical, and computer engineering from Yokohama National University, Yokohama, Japan, in 2006, 2008, and 2011, respectively. He was a Research Student with The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, from 2010 to 2011. He was also a Research Fellow (DC2) of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, from 2009 to 2011. Since 2011, he has been with Nikon Corporation, Yokohama, Japan. His research interests include motion control and nano-scale servo control. He works on the design of a motion control and high-precision servo control of large-scale stage. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
